Brandywine valedictorians, top 10 announced

Mackenzie Shelton and Michael Shelton are co-valedictorians for the Brandywine High School Class of 2013.

College/Future Plans: Calvin College, major in education, play basketball Awards/Honors: Student Senate President, National Honor Society (NHS) and Spanish Honor Society (SHS); class president; President’s Award; Citizenship Award; Honors for Art Work at Fernwood, BHS and Niles Art Show and the Lakeland Fine Arts Festival.

Athletic Awards: Tennis All-Conference, Regional Champion; Basketball – All State, All-Conference, BK Outstanding Student Athlete; WSJM Athlete of the Week; SB Tribune All-Area Team; Volleyball – All Conference; MVP in volleyball

Community Service: Blood Drive Volunteer; Food Drive Volunteer; MI Gateway Youth Advisor
