Brandywine tennis remains undefeated; Vikings fall to Mattawan

VICKSBURG — The Brandywine tennis team improved to 11-0 with a 6-2 victory over Wolverine Conference squad Vicksburg Tuesday afternoon.

The Bobcats swept the doubles flights and split the singles flights to earn the victory.

“Just a great job by our entire team to gain a big win on the road,” Brandywine coach Joe Marazita said. “This will be a confidence booster as we head into our conference tournament and regionals.”

The Niles tennis team dropped a 5-3 decision to Mattawan Tuesday.

Winning matches for the Vikings were Anna Flahaven at No. 1 singles, Serenity Wagner at No. 3 singles and Rachel Girvin at No. 4 singles.
