Lorraina Reeves, 86

Lorraina Reeves, 86, of Marcellus, passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

 

Lorraina’s life began on April 19, 1927, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of Melvin and Lillian (Duncan) Morris.  She was united in marriage to Winfred Reeves, who precedes her in death. 

 

Before retirement, Lorraina has been employed as a factory worker. 

 

She enjoyed spending her retirement traveling between her homes in Plant City, Fla., and Marcellus. 

 

She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting. She won several ribbons at the county fair for her crocheting work. 

 

Her loving family includes: her children, Rocky (Lisa) Reeves of Dowagiac, Donna (James) Smith of Dowagiac, Kerry (Catherine) Reeves of Dowagiac and Randall Reeves of Marcellus. 

 

Lorraina is preceded in death by a son, Ronald Reeves.

 

She will be laid to rest in at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, Ind., at a later date. Yazel and Clark Chapel is serving her family.
