BERRIEN SPRINGS – Brooke Smith picked up an unassisted hat trick to lead the Brandywine soccer team past former Lakeland Conference foe Berrien Springs Monday afternoon.

Smith scored in the 22nd, 49th and 52nd minutes for the Bobcats, who outshot the Shamrocks 7-5.

The Berrien Springs goal in the first half came on a Brandywine own goal.
