VICKSBURG – The Dowagiac tennis team finally got to open its season Tuesday.

The Chieftains were defeated by host Vicksburg 7-1 in a Wolverine Conference non-divisional match.

Hannah MacDonald was Dowagiac’s lone winner as she defeated Chloe Ramsey in three sets 5-7, 6-3 and 6-2.
