THREE OAKS – The Bridgman Bees won the opening Lakeland Conference golf jamboree held at Chikaming Country Club Monday.

The Bees edged Brandywine by two strokes, 188-200. Cassopolis finished third with 215 and Buchanan fourth with 238.

Brandywine’s Alec DeJonge and Bridman’s Zach Bauer shared medalist honors after shooting 43.

Cassopolis was led by Austin Fitzsimmons’s 54 and Buchanan was led by Blake Herwick’s 53.
