Southwestern Michigan College Spring Student Art Exhibit opens April 11 and runs through April 25 in the Dowagiac campus art gallery with an artist reception at 12:30 p.m. April 18.

Works by Southwestern Michigan College ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting and photography students will be featured in the art gallery located in the Dale A. Lyons Building on the Dowagiac campus. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

SMC President Dr. David Mathews will present Awards of Merit to students during the artist reception.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment. For more information, call 782-1382.
