Those wishing to meet the members of the Berrien County Board of Commissioners without having to travel north to St. Joseph will have an opportunity to do so this week.

The Berrien County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Niles Charter Township Hall, 320 Bell Rd., Niles.

It is the first of four regular board meetings scheduled to be held away from the county administration center in St. Joseph.

The invocation will be performed by Pastor Jeff Whittaker of Michiana Christian Embassy in Niles.

Agenda items include a lease for the upgrade of remaining county computers, Swift and Sure programming, a public safety contract presentation from Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey and farm lease Napier property.
