NILES — John Joseph Daron, Jr., 84, of Niles, passed away on March 11, 2013 at Lakeland Specialty Hospital in Berrien Center.

He was born March 1, 1929 in Niles to John Sr. and Grace Daron. He was a lifetime area resident, was involved in the Boy Scouts for many years, and retired from Clark Equipment Company.

Preceding him in death are his parents and son, Mikel Daron.

Surviving family include his daughters, Kathryn Daron & Rita Broden; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred Klimek.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Camp Madron Lodge in Buchanan.
