NILES — Vernon E. Hall, 68, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles.

He was born August 2, 1944 in South Boardman, Mich., to Henry Dean & Mary Jane Hall, who both have preceded in death. He retired from Pemco in Bridgman, Mich.

On Feb. 27, 1970 in Buchanan, he married Pamela Kay Mullins.  She preceded him in death on Sept. 21, 2012. He is also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Surviving family include a son Gene (Carrie) Hall, daughter Shawn (Joseph)  Potthoff, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen Pressey and Franci Schoenemann; and many nieces & nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 22, at Hoven Funeral Home, Inc. in Buchanan. Bishop Alfred Deeds of Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle will be officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, also in Hoven Funeral Home.
