Dennis, of Dowagiac, began his life on Jan. 13, 1966, in Buchanan, the son of Kenneth Wayne and Dellamarie (Smith) Cook.

He was a 1985 graduate of Dowagiac Union Schools.
Dennis enjoyed attending church, going out junking with his dad, reading, playing Playstation and collecting Matchbox cars.
He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth and Dellamarie Cook of Dowagiac; his three siblings, Lisa Marie (Wayne) Ottinger of Dowagiac, William M. (Suzanne) Cook of Dowagiac and Kenneth J. Cook of Dowagiac; great uncle, Mike (Alice) Cook of Dowagiac; nieces and nephews, Justin Ottinger, Austin Cook, Nanah Davis, Elizabeth Aranda and Abigal Cook.
Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda M. Cook, in 1992, and nephew Brandon Cook.
Dennis passed away in his Dowagiac home Tuesday, March, 19, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at Keeler Church of God, where his funeral service will begin at noon, led by Pastor John Saylor.
