 Sarah Marie (Witte) Zimmerman entered into this life on May 19, 1947, born to Elmer F. and Ruth (Henry) Witte. She entered into rest on Feb. 18, 2013, surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her four children, Debrah Shafer (Johnnie Thomas), Patricia Pierce (Michael Little), Bo (Gayla) Zimmerman, all of Niles, and Chris (Agnes) Zimmerman, of Illinois. She is also survived by a sister, Shirley Hrobsky, of Wisconsin; brothers, Albert (Debbie) Witte and Walter (Darlene) Witte, also of Wisconsin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Jennifer Zimmerman, Takeysha Davis, Chad Pierce, Dustin Zimmerman, Jeremy Zimmerman, Austyn Zimmerman, Alexa Pal, Nicole Zimmerman, Samantha Zimmerman, Jason Zimmerman; and by her great-grandchildren, Brady Zimmerman, Tianna Hipps and Traevon Hipps.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Laverne Zimmerman Sr.; a sister, Diane Weide; a brother, Raymond Witte; and great-granddaughters, Allysa and Maryssa Miller.

A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home with an interment following at Southlawn Cemetery.
