Vikings fall to St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH — A slow start proved to be the difference as visiting Niles dropped a 46-32 Big 16 West Division decision to St. Joseph Monday night.

The Vikings (0-18) trailed 19-8 after one quarter and spent the rest of the game crying to catch up to the Bears (15-3).

Over the final three quarter, St. Joseph managed just a 27-24 advantage in the scoring column.

Khalilah Abdullah led the Vikings with eight points. Libby Moody added seven.

Erika Priebe paced the Bears and all scorers with 17 points. Lauren Brower finished with 11.
