SOUTH HAVEN — Visiting Dowagiac was able to stay with South Haven through a quarter and a half of its Wolverine West Division make-up game Monday night.

The Rams (6-12, 8-3 West) led just 10-9 heading into the second quarter. South Haven outscored Dowagiac 9-3 in the second quarter to open up an 18-11 advantage.

The Chieftains (0-18, 0-11 West) never recovered.

Crieona Rodgers scored nine points to lead Dowagiac, which also got six points from Jessica Herthoge.

Meagan Spears scored 18 for South Haven.
