Sandra E. Reits, 70, of Niles, passed away at home on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

Sandra was born on July 27, 1942, to the late Darrell Sr. and Martha (Griman) Dunlap in South Bend, Ind. Sandra was one of five children. After high school Sandra went straight to work for AM General. She was a faithful employee for over 30 years.  Sandra enjoyed spending her free time playing bingo or gambling “at the boat” and her husband, David, always made sure she could go but what kept her going more than anything was the love that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren shared with her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Robbie Landis, sister Kathleen Plough and brother Richard Dunlap.
Sandra is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, David Reits; children, Randall “Randy” (Debra) Landis, of South Bend, Rick (Patricia) Landis, of Niles, and Sherrie (Randy Clem) Reits, of Kissimmee, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Darrell (Beverly) Dunlap, of South Bend, and Patricia (Paul) Turrell, of Niles.
A memorial service will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
