Lee

She was born March 29, 1941 in Goshen, Ind., to Clyde and Alice (Anglemyer) Weirick. She married Dale O. Lee on May 26, 1959, in Goshen, Ind. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Scott Lee; one grandson, Jeffery Dale Lee Jr.; and one sister, Andrea Kay McKenna.

Micki graduated from Jefferson High School in Goshen, Ind. After marrying the love of her life in 1959, Dale and Micki started their family with two sons, Jeff and Steve, by 1962. From that point on her life revolved around her boys. She enjoyed taking them on camping trips and watching her boys’ sporting events. They were members of the Michiana 4 Wheelers Club. Dale and Micki started their RV company, Lee Enterprises, in 1985. The business was stressful and yet a joy, because she could see her family every day. Her one true passion was her family. Micki felt to be a good Grandma all you had to do was try, and she did. She took pride in being Gramma Lee to five grandchildren and was so excited to be Great Gramma Lee to Emma, who was born in early January of this year. She enjoyed putting together puzzles, reading books, sewing, gardening, playing cards and gambling.

Micki will greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Dale O. Lee, of Vandalia, and Brooksville, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Sharon Lee, of Vandalia, Steven and Elizabeth Lee, of Cassopolis; five grandchildren, Erica Lee, Justin (Chyvon) Lee, Taylor Lee and Cameron Lee, all of Cassopolis, and Peytin Lee, of Dowagiac; one great- granddaughter, Emma Williams, and one great-grandchild on the way; two sisters, Peggy (Jim) Myers, of Goshen, and Leella (Roy) Frey, of Cassopolis; and one brother, Clyde Weirick, of Elkhart.

Family and friends will gather this spring in April at a date and time to be announced in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis. Online condolences may be posted at wagnercares.com.
