Hennig

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bill Hennig. She also leaves her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren, including Brad and Torri Hennig, parents of grandson, Willie Jay; Brian and Amy Hennig, parents of grandson, Bryce, and granddaughters, Ava and Lilah; and BJ and Theresa Hennig, parents of grandson, Dylan, and granddaughters, Sarah and Samantha. She leaves behind many who loved her, including her sister, Barbara (Loehr) Gough, and her precious niece (sister to the boys), Kendra Kay (Gough) Grimm, and her husband, Michael Grimm (brother to the boys). She is preceded in death by others she loved and looked forward to seeing again.

Phyllis was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all she met. Her heart was filled with the gift of love and laughter, which she shared with all those close and dear to her. She traveled whenever she could with her husband, sons and friends. She touched lives wherever she went from Evansville, South Bend, and New Albany, Indiana to Dayton, Ohio, El Paso and Dallas, Texas, Mason City, Iowa, Chicago, St. Louis and Niles. She made others laugh, and she was always at home with her family. If your heart was broken, she mended it. She consoled you in times of sorrow. She filled the losses you bore. She showered others in kindness. She lifted spirits. Most of all, she was loved by all she encountered and always created laughter. Truly she will be missed and forever in our hearts.
