Percy C. Brown, 90, of Dowagiac, passed away at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.

Percy was born on March 1, 1922, in Hollandale, Miss.

He is preceded in death by his parents, several children and several brothers and sisters.

Percy is survived by: his children, Bessie Davis of Sacramento, Calif., Mary Grady of Elkhart, Ind., Bernice Rasheedah (Ahmed) Brown-Abdul-Rahmaan of Chicago and Ronnie Brown of Sacramento; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services beginning at noon at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel.
