Vikings come up short against Mustangs

PORTAGE – The Niles girls basketball team hung with Portage Central throughout Tuesday night’s Big 16 West Division contest.

But the Vikings were unable to pull out the victory and dropped a 36-26 decision to the Mustangs.

Elyse Zimmerman led Niles with seven points. Khalilah Abdullah and Jazmin Brann both finished with six points.

Jessica Dornoff had 19 points to lead Portage Central.
