Margaret Woolet, RN, CCRN, has achieved the Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

Holly McDonald, RN, BC, has attained the Medical Surgical Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

And Season Marinich, BSN, RN, CEN, is the recipient of the Certified Emergency Nurse Certification through the Emergency Nurses Association.

Certification is the nursing profession’s official recognition of achievement, expertise and clinical judgment as well as a mark of excellence.

Continued competency requirements for certification renewal ensure certified nurses like Woolet, McDonald and Marinich remain up-to-date with the latest developments in their specialties.

“Certification validates nursing skills, knowledge and abilities,” said John Ryder, chief operating officer, Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital. “Credentialing advances the profession of nursing by both encouraging and recognizing professional achievement. We are thrilled these nurses are continuing the strong tradition of nursing care at Lee Memorial.”
