To the editor:

I would like to thank our Dowagiac band director, C.J. Brooks, and his six band students who made up the brass sextet that played at Silver Creek and Keeler United Methodist Churches on Christmas Eve.
What beautiful music.
These students accompanied the congregation and choir on seven Christmas carols.
After the service they played for our refreshment time and we had a Merry Christmas sing along.
I would like to commend these students, Harley Beaver, Wes Beaver, Austin Broda, Kenny Cremeans, Corinne Kasper and Dean Klann for all the rehearsal time it took to learn these songs, and for volunteering their time during Christmas vacation and on Christmas Eve. Thanks again. It was a Christmas Eve to remember.
