PLAINWELL — Host Plainwell poured in 26 first quarter points en route to a 57-13 Wolverine Conference non-divisional girls basketball win over Dowagiac Tuesday night.

The Trojans added 16 points in the second quarter, while holding the Chieftains to just four as they opened up a 42-6 halftime advantage.

Plainwell outscored Dowagiac 15-7 in the second half, which was played mostly under a running clock.

Cara Minto and Sarah Morrell scored 14 and 12 points respectively for the Trojans.

Rayven Brown had five points for the Chieftains, who got six rebounds from Kristyn Turner.
