Franklin Donald Vance, 80, of Lorida, Fla., died Dec. 23, 2012, in Sebring, Fla.

Vance was born Nov. 8, 1932, in St. Joseph and retired from Tyler Refrigeration in 1982. He married Martha E. Dennis June 28, 1952. He enjoyed fishing, flying as a private pilot and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He belonged to Sebring Church of Christ, the NRA and EAA.

Surviving is a daughter, Deborah (James) Brown; grandson, Justin Benjamin; granddaughter Tiffany Benjamin; sister, Phyllis (Oscar) Davis; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Martha Dennis Vance; son, Donald Vance; father, William Vance Sr.; mother, Nettie Buskirk Vance; and brothers, Kenneth Vance and William Vance Jr.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date.
