The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a snowmobile safety class from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Cass County Emergency Management/E-911 Building at 130 N. Broadway in Cassopolis.

This course is required for anyone ages 12 to 17 who would like to operate a snowmobile in Michigan.

Interested persons must register by calling (269) 445-1240 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The last day to register is Jan. 17.
