“After serving our hospital and patients for more than four decades, Nancy will be greatly missed,” said John Ryder, interim administrator and chief operating officer, Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital. “We wish her good health and much happiness in her retirement.”

Henry worked in a variety of positions during her tenure, including the switchboard and admissions, collections and billing and, most recently, in registration/communications.

One of her favorite service opportunities at the hospital was organizing children’s Christmas parties and picnics.

“I’ve gained so much knowledge from my work life and have met so many wonderful people, co-workers and patients alike,” she said. “I have too many fond memories to count and am honored to carry those memories and the relationships I built along with me.”

During her retirement, Henry plans to work on home projects, travel and spend time with friends and family — especially her granddaughters.

“I’m ready to do whatever I want whenever I want,” she said.
