Dowagiac draws defending champ Lakeshore

There has been another shake up in the Class B District basketball line-up.

Dowagiac returns to its regular district, while Edwardsburg has been shifted out once again.

The Class B boys tournament will be hosted by Berrien Springs and will begin March 4.

In the opening round, Benton Harbor will take on Coloma at 6 p.m. with Dowagiac facing defending district champion Lakeshore in the second game at 8 p.m.

Buchanan and host Berrien Springs both received first round byes and will play in the semifinals March 6.

Buchanan will take on the Benton Harbor-Coloma winner at 6 p.m., while the Shamrocks will face the Dowagiac-Lakeshore winner at 8 p.m.

The finals are set for March 8 at 7 p.m.

 

Girls districts

The Class B girls tournament will be hosted by Lakeshore.

The tournament begins Feb. 25 with a doubleheader.

In the opening game, Coloma will take on Lakeshore at 6 p.m., while Benton Harbor will face Berrien Springs in the second game at 8 p.m.

Buchanan and Dowagiac both received first round byes and will play in the semifinals Feb. 27.

Dowagiac will take on the Benton Harbor-Berrien Springs winner at 6 p.m., while Buchanan will face the winner of the Coloma-Lakeshore game at 8 p.m.

The championship game is set for March 1 at 7 p.m.
