Ruby Watson, 78, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and previously of Niles, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 in Inverness, Fla.

Ruby was born on Dec. 27, 1933 to the late Raymond and Alice Anglin in Nobel, Ark.

After graduating from Niles High School in 1953 Ruby went on to be very successful at selling appliances.  She retired from Kmart after 20 years of dedicated service.  On Feb. 27, 1954 Ruby wed the love of her life, Louis Watson, at a ceremony in Pokagon, Mich.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis and her siblings.

Ruby is survived by her children Terry Watson of Montana, Tami Jo (John Robinson) Watson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Tonnya (Keith) LaCava of Mishawaka, Ind., grandchildren Heather (Marcus) Vigil of South Bend, Ind., Charles White of Napanee, Ind., Jacob White of Mishawaka, Ind., Brandy Watson of Michigan City, Ind., and Sherry (Cody) Davis of South Carolina and two great grandchildren Mason Davis and Elijah Vigil.

Ruby’s family will be hosting a small memorial service in her honor at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 11 a.m.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Ruby’s name may do so to the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka.
