PORTAGE — Host Portage Central outscored Niles 24-11 in the first half on its way to a 48-41 Big 16 Conference West Division victory in boys basketball Tuesday night.

Rodney Turner and Jacob Flight combined for 28 of the Mustangs’ 48 points.

Niles got 11 points, three steals and a pair of assists from Alec Brown. Jeremy Wortham finished with nine points.
