Christopher J. Nicodemus, 55, of Cassopolis, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, in Lakeland Hospital, Niles. He was born March 25, 1957, in South Bend, Ind., to John and Patricia (McLean) Nicodemus. His parents preceded him in death. He married Kathryn (Gross) Lykins on Sept. 19, 1998, in Niles. She survives.

Christopher loved drag racing, the NHRA and riding his Harley. He liked to hunt and go snowmobiling.
Christopher will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Gross) Nicodemus of Cassopolis; one stepdaughter, Tracey Ann (Rodney) Williams, of Vandalia; two stepsons, Brandon (Crystal) Lykins, of Cynthianna, Ky., Kristofer Lykins of Buchanan; two grandsons, Reese Williams, Nathan Lykins; one sister, Kathleen “Kitt” (Kenneth) Gross of Denver, Col.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will observe a private remembrance.
