The Ring Lardner eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Lakeshore 45-19 Thursday to improve to 3-1.

Alex Harpenau scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Vikings, who also got nine points from Hunter Slaughter and Kenny Gathright. Jake Hamm added seven points.

Defensively for Ring Lardner, James Kirtdoll had five steal and also scored five points.

 

Seventh grade

The Ring Lardner seventh grade basketball team was edged by Lakeshore 26-23 Thursday.

Connor Brawley had a team-high 16 points and five steals, Kendall Whitelow grabbed seven rebounds.
