Bertha A. Hannon, 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at her home in Key Largo, Fla.

On June 18, 1926 she was born to Raymond Earl and Gena (Stayer) Bruce. She graduated from Niles High School with the Class of 1944. On July 1, 1950 she married Dr. Lawrence Hannon and moved to Florida shortly after.

Bertha was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She also loved spending precious time with her seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by their parents, husband (Jan. 1, 2012) and sister Bernice Demuth. Surviving are her children Larry II, Mary Lee, Patti, Felicity and Brian. Also, four sisters Marjorie Bartold (John), Byrne and Betty Larson along with five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The viewing and mass have taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the donor’s choice.

Cremation took place Thursday, Nov. 8 and her cremains will be interred at St. Justin’s Columbarium in Key Largo.
