NOTRE DAME — Tipoff for the 2012-13 University of Notre Dame men’s basketball season opener against Evansville Saturday has been set for 2p.m. at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.

The contest is the first of two matchups for the Irish in the preliminary rounds of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.  The Irish meet Monmouth Monday at 7 p.m. at Purcell Pavilion.
