Michael T. Bosela, 53, of Vandalia, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio ,to John and Ann (Spirnak) Bosela.

His father preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Bosela.

He married Amy Miller on Aug. 8, 1987, in Naperville, Ill.

Mike was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Edwardsburg and the Knights of Columbus, St. Augustine of Hippo Council 14729. He enjoyed spending time on Shavehead Lake. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Michael will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Amy (Miller) Bosela of Vandalia; his mother, Ann (Spirnak) Bosela of Fort Payne, Ala.; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Christopher Hand of Fort Payne, Ala.; nephews, John David Peet, Jason (Natalie) Peet, and Justin Peet; great niece and nephews, Kailey Peet and Jayden Peet; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alan and Pam Miller of West Dundee, Ill.; nieces Nicole Miller, Kayla Miller and Jordan Miller.

Family and friends gathered from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 24832 U.S. 12 East, Edwardsburg, with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will again gather from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, with the Reverend Fr. Joe McCormick officiating.

The Mass will be immediately followed by a luncheon in the church social hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 24832 U.S. 12 East, Edwardsburg, Michigan 49112 or the Knights of Columbus, St Augustine of Hippo Council 14729, in care of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis.
