To the editor:

There is often much said about candidates and political issues … and it’s difficult to know the truth about most of it — which is one of the greatest challenges of our time.
I’ve observed Matt Lori over the past few years and have attended a number of his town halls and coffees for the purposes of learning about the “realities” of our state’s politics and to get a better “measure of the man.”
Most of us citizenry should find/make the time to attend them — they are illuminating.
While he doesn’t always care for the “goings on” of government — he has a practical and realistic sense, attitude and conduct about him that is effective, respected … and appreciated by many.
This I do know — I intend to vote to re-elect Matt Lori as he is the kind of public figure we need in our government.
