Eyvonne (Smith) Johnson, of Douglas, formerly of Niles, died of natural causes at 3:52 p.m. Oct. 22, at Grace of Douglas in Douglas.
Eyvonne Johnson
Born May 7, 1932, in Coffee County, Tenn., Eyvonne was a homemaker. She married Jerrold Jay Johnson in Niles on April 6, 1949.
Eyvonne was preceded in death by parents, Aubrey and Erain Smith; brother, James Smith; and sister, Claity Ruth Smith.
Eyvonne is survived by her husband; three sons, Jerry Ray Johnson, Perry Wayne Johnson and Rick Allen Johnson; brother, Russell Smith; and sisters, Charlotte Carpenter and Shelva Polk. She has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan. Eyvonne will be buried at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan.
