Southwestern Michigan College accepts gifts and grants

The Southwestern Michigan College Board of Trustees accepted contributions on behalf of the college at its February meeting held on the Dowagiac campus. The following gifts were received with a resolution of thanks from the Board of Trustees:

The board also accepted a state grants from the U.S. Department of Education, a Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Grant in the amount of $125,995 for the 2012-2013 award year.
