Please connect the arrow

Many voters received a letter from me and instructions on how to not vote straight party and write in Joe True and connect the arrow. Soon after, you received a letter from Bill Kays, whom you voted in a recall to remove from office. Many reasons you chose to recall Bill were addressed in his letter.

Residents were upset over the loss of Sister Lakes Ambulance and the future of Sister Lakes Fire Department. Many believe their taxes are too high and several complained Bill would never take or return your phone calls. I have to ask, why would anyone believe him now, or that he has somehow transformed into a different person. The supervisor’s position is not an easy one.

I am learning things every day and there is still much to learn, however, Bill did not know it all and had to learn as he went along. The problem is that at the present time, Bill has been on the board too long. He believes he knows what’s best for you and makes decisions without asking for your input or even caring what you think. Government is supposed to work for the people — not the other way around. I have gained many friends during this year as supervisor, but I also lost some because of the dirty politics and lies used against me. I do promise one thing, that no one will work as hard as

I will to be fair, balanced, open and available to the citizens of Keeler Township.

Please do not vote straight party and do write in Joe True and connect the arrow so I may work for you, as your township supervisor should.

Joseph S. True, Keeler Township Supervisor
