Michael Hiatt II and Logan Calvert, of Elkhart, are the parents of a boy, Jaden Hiatt, born Sept. 24, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was 7 pounds 7 ounces and 22 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Heather Hiatt and Todd Calvert. Paternal grandparents are Cassie Eoff and Michael Hiatt.

Maternal great-grandparents are Sue and Bud Drane and Kathy Jernigen.

Jerry and Arielle Beathea of Cassopolis are the parents of a son, born Oct 5, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 7 pounds.

Kristin Shaner and Nicholas Thompson of New Buffalo and Galien are the parents of a son, born Oct 9, 2012 at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces. Kristin and Nicholas are also the parents of one son: Ryan, 2.

Lamirand-Low

Kristen Low and Justin Lamirand, of Niles, are the parents of a girl, Emma Lamirand, born Sept. 19, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She joins a brother, Carson Cooper.

Maternal grandparents are Dawn Vaughn, Chris Low and Trent Vaughn. Paternal grandparents are Tracy Lamirand and Charles Lamirand. Maternal great-grandparents are Suzanne Low, Valda Skinner and Martha Vaughn. Paternal great-grandmother is Helen Robbins.
