Dale W. Deutscher, 57, of Kokomo, Ind., passed away at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 9, 2012, at his home.

He was born June 3, 1955, in Niles to Arthur and Virginia (Baker) Deutscher.

He was a graduate of SMU with a master’s degree in engineering. Dale also worked for Delco Electronics, Delphi and RCA as a software engineer.

He is survived by his father, Arthur Deutscher; brothers, Mark (Sandra) Deutscher, of Illinois, and Glenn (Ralhpa) Deutscher, of Michigan; and a sister, Diane (Rex) Mitchell, of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Deutscher.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd. A committal service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Mission Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Niles.

Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
