THREE RIVERS — The Brandywine tennis team wrapped up its regular season with a 7-1 victory over host Three Rivers Wednesday.

The Bobcats swept the doubles flights to earn the non-conference victory.

Brandywine also took three out of four singles flights.

“This was a great way to end our regular season,” Brandywine coach David Sidenbender said. “The guys really battled in harsh conditions, 40 degrees and gusting 20-30 m.p.h. winds, it’s tough on all of them.

“Chance Smith finished a stellar regular season with a 17-3 record and no losses in our division this year. Also, I believe that nine wins is record for a boys tennis team here at Brandywine. Couldn’t be more proud if a group of guys. Now it’s regionals and the hope that we represent ourselves and Brandywine in a classy and competitive fashion.”
