Bobcats open busy week with win

SOUTH HAVEN — A busy week for the Brandywine tennis team kicked off Monday with the Bobcats blanking an undermanned host South Haven squad 8-0.

The Rams forfeited two of the four singles flights.

The Bobcats were without No. 1 singles player Michael Robbins, who was running cross country for Brandywine Monday.

Chance Smith moved up from No. 2 singles to fill the spot and won a three-set thriller from Chad Smith 4-6, 6-0 and 6-1.
