The Salvation Army of Niles hosts its community Thanksgiving meal is from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Michiana Christian Embassy, 1922 E. Main St.

The Salvation Army is also organizing Christmas assistance for toys, clothes and food.

“Folks in need may begin calling to schedule appointments to complete the Christmas assistance application process,” Lolmaugh said. “We service Niles and Buchanan in Berrien County and all of Cass County. These programs would not be possible without the support of many volunteers and donors.”
