The Brandywine cross country team was defeated by visiting Bridgman Monday.

The Bees defeated the Bobcats 19-40.

Michael Robbins finished third and Collin Mattiford fourth for Brandywine with times of 18:58 and 19:08 respectively.

Cameron Bredice of Bridgman was the overall winner with a time of 17:48.

Neither team could field a full squad for the girls race and so modified scoring was used.

Bridgman defeated Brandywine 17-30.

Allison Zacharski was fourth with a time of 27:14.

At the Allegan Invitational Saturday, Robbins finished 15th (18:21) and Mattiford 19th (18:43) in race 1. Evan Zacharski was 26th (20:56).

In race 2, James Harrell was 11th (19:09), Zach Schmidt 21st (20:14) and Joshua Youngs 33rd (22:56).
