MANCHESTER, Ind. – Former Dowagiac standout Austin Adams rushed for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Manchester University defeated visiting Defiance College 34-28 Saturday.

Adams, who carried the ball 12 times, scored on a 61-yard run in the opening quarter and no a 13-yard run in the second quarter.

Edwardsburg’s Stephen Coble had 6.5 tackles, including a pair for loss.
