The Dowagiac JV volleyball team defeated South Haven 25-14 and 25-23 Thursday.

“The girls have been working very hard and it is starting to pay off,” Dowagiac coach Christina Carpenter said. “Rosadio Murray really stepped it up last night playing setter. She moved her feet and got the ball where it needed to be.”

Murray had five serves, one block and five digs.
