Edwardsburg Public Schools Board of Education Monday night hired three teachers.

Edwardsburg Primary School Principal Debora Crouch recommended Edwardsburg graduates Darcy (Scott) Baker as a kindergarten teacher and Susanna (Martino) Anderstrom as a first grade teacher.

Crouch and Eagle Lake Principal Deborah Becraft recommended hiring Seth Story as an elementary music teacher. Angela Felabom resigned.

Baker, EHS Class of 1999, graduated from Bethel College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Anderstrom, EHS ’06, also graduated from Bethel College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

The former Miss Edwardsburg was previously employed as a preschool teacher at Lewis Cass Intermediate School District.

Both women did their student teaching at the primary school.

Story, who is from Ithaca, graduated from Olivet College with a bachelor’s degree in music education.

He previously taught in Arizona.
