Rose Trojan, 93, of Dowagiac, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in Forest Glen Assisted Living in Dowagiac.

She was born March 20, 1919, in Franklin, Kansas to Daniel and Aniela (LaSota) Trojan.

Rose spent her life living and working on the family farm.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Trojan; two brothers, John Trojan and Peter Trojan; and one cousin, Raymond Slussar.

She is survived by her cousins and their spouses, Mark and Lynn Slussar of Chicago; Tom and Barb LaSota of Kansas; Marie Francis Kiel of Kansas; William LaSota of Missouri; Randy and Donna Slussar of Arizona; Lawrence and Monica Slussar of Illinois; Kerry Slussar of Washington; Raymond LaSota of Kansas; Dan and Sherry Crepinsek of Arma, Kansas; and cousin-in-law Mildred Slussar of Arizona.

Family and friends will gather at noon Wednesday, Sept. 26, for a graveside service in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis. Father Donald G. Potts, pastor of Saint Ann Catholic Church, Cassopolis will officiate. MissTrojan will be laid to rest near her family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis.
