Delores Nelson, 55

Delores M. Nelson, 55, of Edwardsburg, passed away at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1957, in Elkhart to Charles and Jacquline (McCavitt) Hibshman.

Delores is survived by her children, Jennifer Gortney, Nichole Cates, Perry Mason Harris Jr., aka “Anthony Treat Nelson,” all of Elkhart, and Kenneth Nelson of Florida. She is also survived by her mother, Jackie Hibshman; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Delores loved hummingbirds and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Elkhart Cremation Services are entrusted with the arrangements.
