Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass is looking for responsible, enthusiastic, local teen volunteers. The teen group participants will be involved in the program by planning activities for the mentors and mentees to participate in together.

Last year’s teen group planned a bowling holiday party and raised enough money to provide all the children with new presents.

“They did all the shopping, present wrapping … they put a lot of work into it,” said Chris Frank, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass. Frank said that teens would work in groups with other teen volunteers to plan these activities, and have the opportunity to be in charge of every aspect of organizing the events.

Teens from all over the Berrien and Cass County are invited to volunteer.

“Last year, we had teens from Edwardsburg, Buchanan, Niles, Berrien; any local area teenager can participate,” said Frank.
