PLAINWELL — The Dowagiac golf team finished eighth at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree hosted by Plainwell at Lake Doster Wednesday.

Otsego grabbed the top spots once again and now has a four-point lead in the overall standings over runner-up Plainwell. The Bulldogs shot 205 to win the jamboree, while Plainwell was second at 208.

Dowagiac finished with a team score of 245.

Plainwell’s Darby Wagner and Otsego’s Erica Nuyen shared medalist honors after both golfers finished at 45.

Haley Smith led Dowagiac with a 55. Maggie Cripe shot 57, Kristyn Turner 64 and Kelsey Smith 69.
